Pastors Dexter & Genette Howard, with their six daughters.
"It doesn't matter where you've been or what you've done; what you've gained or lost; where you started or where you're stuck...God loves you and still has a plan for your life."
This is the heartbeat of the message Dexter and Genette Howard have lived and declared throughout the world for over 20 years. This message has brought hope, help and healing to thousands of people and birthed sons and daughters into the Kingdom of God.
The Howards are a ministry team, serving together as parents of 6 growing daughters, Pastors, Bible-teachers, authors, and humanitarians. Most of all, they're best friends, fun-loving, and just everyday peoplewho love Jesus and are committed to living with purpose and passion.
Dexter and Genette are the founders of Howard International Ministries, which helps people discover their identity in Christ so they can live their highest life. Their greatest passion is planting and nurturing life-giving churches where people can be healed, restored and released into their God-given purpose to advance the Kingdom of God.
In 1998, the Howards founded Restoration Church in Fayetteville, Arkansas, which is now a dynamic and thriving congregation impacting the Northwest Arkansas region. The Howards have traveled throughout Haiti, South America, and many African nations (Nigeria, Zambia, and Botswana) as speakers, teachers and humanitarians.
Dexter Howard is the author of "Identity Shift: The Change That Changes Everything", in which he shares his struggle with fatherlessness and how shifting into his true identity as a son of God changed his life.
Genette Howard is the author of two books, "Fight Stress & Live: 5 Simple Commitments That Can Save Your Life" and "The Five Laws Of Gratitude: Simple Shifts to Create a Happier, Healthier & Wealthier YOU". Her books give people the information and inspiration they need to thrive in life.
In obedience to the call of God, Dexter and Genette moved their family to Charlotte, North Carolina in 2014, to plant The Restoration Place Church.

OUR VISION & VALUES
Our vision is to start a restoration movement in the lives of people by helping them take the journey to belong, believe and become all they were meant to be in Christ, step by step...
Know God. Everyone was created for an intimate relationship with God as our Father. In fact, there's a space inside of us that only He can fill. If there's any hope for us to be fulfilled in life and become who we were meant to be, it begins with knowing God, personally and deeply.
Find Freedom. Everyone was created for freedom. But often the pain of life weighs us down and holds us captive to sin, shame and fear. Christ came that we might be set free and enjoy our life to the fullest.
Discover Purpose. Everyone was created with a purpose in mind. God designed each of us with a unique history, personality, talents, strengths and weaknesses so that we can make a special contribution to the world. He wants us to know our purpose and live our purpose.
Make a Difference. Everyone was created to make a difference in the world. No amount of money, fame or comfort can replace the fulfillment of making an eternal difference in someone's life. You will experience the highest level of joy when you live to give.
We believe that no matter where a person may be in life they can begin this journey to restoration any moment.
"Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved." Romans 10:13

WHAT WE BELIEVE
The Bible is the inspired and only infallible and authoritative written Word of God.
(II Timothy 3:16; II Peter 1:21)
There is one God manifest in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, eternally existent.
(Matthew 28:19, II Corinthians 12:14)
Christianity is based upon:
The deity of our Lord Jesus Christ (John 1:1-14,18)
His sinless life (I Peter 2:21-22)
His virgin birth (Matthew 1:18-25)
His miracles (Acts 2:22)
His atoning death through His shed blood (Romans 5:6-11)
His burial (Matthew 27:57-66)
His bodily resurrection (Matthew 25:5-7)
His ascension to the right hand of God the Father (Ephesians 1:19-20)
His second coming & the rapture of the Church (I Thess. 4:15-18, John 14:3, Acts 1:11)
The New Birth (accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior) is necessary for all and produces eternal life through confession and belief in the Lord Jesus Christ. (Romans 10:9-10; John 3:3-5)
Believers can be baptized in the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues. (Acts 2:4; Acts 10:44-48)
In the present-day operations of the nine gifts of the Spirit. (I Corinthians 12:7-11)
In the following ordinances:
The Lord's Supper (I Corinthians 11:23-30)
Water Baptism (Matthew 28:19; Romans 6:3-4)
In total prosperity for the whole man - spirit, soul, and body. (John 10:10; II Corinthians 8:9; III John 1:2)
